Job Title: Product Engineering Manager

About the Role ✍

Oculi is looking for a strong experienced individual with good technical fundamentals and leadership skills to lead its integrated circuits or ASIC design team. This position is responsible for managing an engineering team across multiple global locations, acting as the primary focal point for the technical team with Oculi’s leadership and customers/partners, managing schedule, budget, and man power for projects, hiring and mentoring of employees, preparing technical and commercial reports and materials, and assist with sales and new business development.

Key Qualifications 🔍

  • 10+ years of product management experience with a proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful hardware product throughout its lifecycle.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in EE, MSE, or advanced degree in physics/semiconductor. MBA is a plus.

  • Knowledge in VLSI: analog and digital circuit designs, Synopsis tools, VHDL and Verilog.

  • Background in product development with product leader responsibilities.

  • Experience leading customer engagements at various levels including senior executives, engineering, and product marketing.

  • Being a marketing and technical expert. An understanding of image sensors is a plus.

  • Able to drive decision making across partners at multiple companies and within a high degree of ambiguity.

  • Relentless focus on understanding, prioritizing, and solving industry needs.

  • Ability to influence and be an effective leader and mentor of a multinational cross-functional team.

  • Self-motivated and proactive, able to try new approaches and creatively solve problems.

  • Working knowledge of Linux.

  • Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills in English.
