Job Title: IC Design Engineer

About the Role:

 As an IC Design Engineer, you will get the opportunity to engage in Oculi’s leading edge chip design activities which will result in products to be deployed across various industries and geographies. These activities involve the definition, design, verification, and documentation for semiconductor chips based on Oculi’s proprietary architecture that includes the Intellipixel: photo diode, sigma-delta front end, and digital processing & logic.

You will work in all aspects of the design flow from high-level design to synthesis, place and route, timing closure and validation. You will also generate directed and random test cases, report code and functional coverage, run Gate level simulations, and replicate bugs in the test bench environment. Additionally, you will be involved in design analysis including selecting technologies and other system topics such as interface approaches. You will be writing, reviewing, and editing technical documents in accordance with company standards as well.

Key Qualifications

•  Bachelor, Master, or PhD in EE or related field.

•  RTL Design experience of Logic Design and Verification.

•  Debugging skills with VCS/Verdi or similar tools

•  Analog and digital circuit designs including custom layout

•  EDA tools, Synopsys is a plus

•  An understanding of image sensors is a plus.

•  Professional experience is a plus.

•  Self-learner and independent problem solver who thinks creatively.

•  Hard-worker and result oriented individual who challenges the status-quo.

•  Comfortable in dealing with ambiguity in a fast changing environment.

•  Fluent in English.
