AI Sensor Design Contractor
At Oculi we are a start-up pushing AI sensing to the edge and have developed the World’s First Smart Programmable Vision Sensor™. Hardware gains are achieved by moving smarts to the pixel – the Oculi IntelliPixel©. This enables vastly more efficient and adaptable AI than possible with today’s conventional image sensor architectures.
These results confirm the promise of the technology to bring breakthroughs in energy efficiency and performance to AI tasks including perception and control from the edge.
About the Role
As an AI Sensor Design Contractor, your primary responsibilities include:
Define the microarchitecture and implement designs for Oculi’s next-generation AI at the edge vision sensor.
-
Utilize standard RTL languages like Verilog, and be open to custom digital design.
-
Collaborate with a small, elite team of engineers who contribute across all levels of silicon engineering and AI software, and who are pioneering AI at the edge.
-
Work with an interdisciplinary team of system and software architects, AI framework developers, application engineers, and algorithms researchers to advance Oculi’s AI at the edge technology from the lab to a wide range of commercial product.
-
Rapidly learn new design skills and computing concepts due to the novel flexibility of Oculi’s AI at the edge. A passion for innovation and a strong eagerness to learn are essential for success in this role.
